Content Marketing Manager

As a content marketing manager, you’ll develop and share Playvox’s story in the evolving customer service contact center space. You will work with stakeholders across the company—in marketing, customer success, product development, and sales—to flesh out Playvox’s perspective and create a compelling overall message. In a given week, you may write an ebook, develop a video script, edit three blog posts written by others, tweet creatively about a business partnership, and interview an external influencer.


  • Working with stakeholders across the company, tease out unique stories about our products, features, and value, crafting killer content in a variety of formats, directed to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Create a quarterly blog calendar based on relevant topics and important organic keywords; ensure blog articles are published on schedule
  • With a focus on continuous improvement, ensure existing blog articles are updated according to our blog plan
  • Build a community of engaged prospects, customers, partners, and other core audiences through Playvox’s LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram accounts
  • Establish clear goals for marketing content and report on performance to goals
  • Develop and manage project plans to ensure smooth, on-time delivery of marketing content


  • At least three (3) years of relevant B2B writing experience (e.g. content marketing, editorial, journalism, publishing, copywriting) with proven results
  • Able to extract clear and compelling narratives from detailed presentations, documents, and interviews and adapt the tone and voice to resonate with the target audience
  • Love writing both long- and short-form content
  • A deep understanding of all content distribution channels, their strengths and weaknesses, and role in achieving our stated goals
  • Native English writing and editing skills (for creativity, brand voice, style, grammar, and punctuation)
  • Excellent research and interviewing skills
  • Dedicated to grammar; able to edit another writer’s work to bring out its best self in order to instruct and inspire
