ROLE DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW

As Manager of the Sales Development team, you’ll develop and coach a world-class team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to nurture and qualify inbound and outbound leads that fill our funnel with high-quality, sales-ready leads. You’ll work closely with Sales and Marketing leaders to ensure we are working efficiently to meet (or exceed) our pipeline creation goals as Playvox expands and transforms customer service teams around the world.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Recruit, train, develop, and coach a world-class team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) located in the US, EMEA, and Latin America
  • Lead team to nurture and qualify inbound and prospect outbound leads
  • Act as a true “leader-coach” and team player to drive process and performance improvement and continuous learning
  • Continually optimize sales cadences, pitches, and collateral for optimal results
  • Own and manage metrics and goals that help drive our monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals
  • Track SDR team metrics and regularly report to Sales and Marketing leadership (along with an action plan when necessary to course-correct) to ensure the team is set up to meet (or exceed) KPIs
  • Provide consistent visibility and insights into sales development activities, hand-off, dispositions, and outcomes by region, team, and individual
  • Implement, improve and standardize key sales processes in service of driving consistent and repeatable motions that predictably drive revenue growth.
  • Partner with regional sales stakeholders to develop outbound calling campaigns to support their target account list and territory plan
  • Regularly review and refine sales development processes to ensure we are efficiently generating maximum results
  • Evaluate, test, and train team on new technologies to improve metrics

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least five years of experience managing a Sales Development Team at a B2B software company
  • Highly motivated and disciplined self-starter with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Highly quantitative, data-driven individual
  • Creative and strategic approach to generating qualified leads
  • Experience using HubSpot/Salesforce.com and sales automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot Sales/Outreach)
  • Excel in high-growth fast-paced environment
  • Experience selling into the contact center industry strongly preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (Spanish language proficiency is a plus)
