Salesforce Engineer

Due to growing customer demand, our Australia based team is now looking for a passionate Senior Salesforce Engineer to join us as a key contributor as we continue to expand our WFM product. Our Aussie team is small but fast evolving and pulls together to produce and deliver amazing client outcomes.

Role Description

You will work closely with a talented team of product owners, engineers, designers, and other stakeholders within an Agile environment to deliver on a product vision to create a unique workforce management experience. As an integral part of the team, you will aim towards taking the application into the next generation of sophistication and creating an intuitive experience for our customers.

To succeed in this role you will be agile and retrospective, and not afraid to identify what we’re doing wrong so we can fix it, and what we're doing right so we can make it even better. You are impact and delivery driven.

As part of our engineering team, you’ll be helping us to deliver an exciting product. This role is diverse with plenty of growth potential and the ability to learn several cross-domain skills.

You’ll join our team and will:

  • Work in cross-functional product teams responsible for the discovery, delivery and validation of product features.
  • Bring your opinion to design decisions, code reviews and building high-quality software with automated tests and documentation
  • Collaborate with product managers and our customer success team to realise our product vision.

The ideal person is someone that is keen to get involved in a small, and fast paced team environment. You will need to be prepared to dig in, and do what is required to ensure success.

Responsibilities:

  • Key partner with the Product Owner of WFM Platform Apps
  • Own the strategic technical direction of Salesforce WEM Application with engineering and product leadership
  • Work with partner consultancies to deliver high quality applications on a regular cadence to the Salesforce App exchange.

Skills and experience:

  • Salesforce developments experience including APEX triggers & Workflows, Lightning Web components & Visual Force Pages, Aura Components, Salesforce Integration patterns, Salesforce Sales Cloud
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data model and data architecture principles
  • Knowledge of CI/CD approach and practice
  • A relevant degree or tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or Software Engineering
  • Preferable:
  • Prior AppExchange development experience ideal - the role is to maintain, build, and enhance according to Product Roadmap an existing application.
  • Comfortable working outside of Salesforce, or willingness to learn, to build an integrated AppExchange application.
  • Exposure to cloud infrastructure experience - especially with AWS
  • Using APIs (RESTful & SOAP), and other types of 3rd party systems integrations, in the development of solutions in Salesforce.
