Virtual Events Manager

ROLE DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW

As a Virtual Events Manager, you’ll design, execute, and measure virtual events that fill our new business funnel with high-quality leads. You’ll optimize every aspect of the campaign to maximize results and ensure we meet our pipeline creation goals. You will work closely with the Sales, Product Marketing, Customer Success, and Marketing Operations teams to understand our buyers and execute high-performing campaigns that include (but are not limited to) virtual trade shows, webinars, and podcasts. You’ll be responsible for achieving challenging pipeline targets as Playvox expands and transforms customer service teams around the world.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create end-to-end, data-driven, virtual event campaigns that fill our new business funnel with high-quality leads
  • Work directly with key stakeholders to ensure their events are produced and delivered on-time and on-target, with deliverables falling within the applicable scope, timeline, and budget
  • Optimize every aspect of the campaign from event promotion to lead distribution
  • Identify opportunities and determine goals and content for several webinars and virtual events throughout the year
  • Serve as the primary host/hostess for virtual events, webinars, and podcasts.
  • Deliver post event reports with data-driven analysis including attendee feedback, goal attainment, and recommendations for future event improvements
  • Build processes for repeatability and scalability of events activities
  • Think big to deliver new ideas and creative approaches to constantly improve the attendee experience

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least three years of relevant B2B software marketing experience with proven results
  • At least three years experience managing virtual events, including webinars and multi-day functions
  • Must be highly proficient in Cvent (Cvent certifications is a plus)
  • Curious to try new ideas with the goal of optimizing acquisition efficiency
  • Experience in managing and executing podcasts is a plus
  • Customer obsessed
  • Experience coordinating registration for in-person events a plus
  • Experience with event platforms such as C vent and ON24 a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (Spanish language proficiency is a plus)
  • Highly quantitative, data-driven individual with experience in project management
  • Excel in high-growth fast-paced environment
